Do you have track of all your super?

If you have ever changed your name, address, job or lived overseas, you may have unintentionally lost track of some of your super. If you lost track of your super it may be held by either your super fund or the ATO as a lost account.

Your super is your savings for retirement. It is important that you know:

  • How much super you are getting
  • What super accounts you have
  • What insurance is provided for you

The latest data from the ATO reveal Australia has a whopping $17.5 billion in lost and unclaimed super! Why not check if some of it is yours?

You can find and manage your super using ATO online services through a myGov account. This is how it works:

  • Log in or create a myGov account - go to the ATO website and select Individuals tab / Online services / Individuals and sole traders / Log in or create a myGov account button
  • Link your myGov account to the ATO
  • Select super
  • See details of all your super accounts, including any you forgot about
  • Easily consolidate multiple super accounts into one super account – first check with your fund if there are any exit fees or whether you will lose any valuable insurance

Can you please share this information with your clients, staff members and local community. Spread the word!

Thank you,
