Entry requirements

The business must have an Australian Business Number (ABN).
Submissions should answer general and specific criteria if applicable using a maximum of 1000 words for each main criteria. Additional examples and evidence will be accepted.

Some of the issues to consider include:

• Overview of business history.
• Growth in business performance and turnover.
• Growth in profitability.
• Expansion into new products/services.
• Expansion into new markets.
• Does the business monitor its performance against its business plan?

Judges are looking for demonstrated quality in submissions and base their decision solely on the documentation provided.

Supporting material such as brochures and samples should be included where you believe it will assist the submission.

Entry tips:

• Keep it clear and concise.
• Focus on the general criteria, guidelines and specific criteria provided for each award.
• Make sure the format is clear and easy to read.

Formatting Hints:

To make the submission easy to read it is a good idea to do the following:

• Use size 12 font in an easily read typeface (Arial, Verdana, Tahoma or Times New Roman)
• Keep paragraphs short ie: 2 or 3 sentences
• Make sure document is well spaced and not to cramped on the page
• Use bullet points
• Make sure your submission is easy to photocopy
